The CHS Marching Band is going to Shanghai in September 2009!
The CHS Music Department has been invited to perform in a major parade in China this Fall. Students will perform in the Shanghai Tourism Festival Opening Ceremony Parade which is very similar (in scale) to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in New York or the Rose Parade in Pasadena.
The trip will provide opportunities to experience Chinese culture and foster American goodwill. Our students and staff are looking forward to representing our school, state, and country!
